Stroll through this picturesque neighborhood, learn the how it came to be and about the influence the “Americans” had on this predominately French city. Visit Lafayette Cemetery, a circa 1833 jewel in the heart of uptown, and the heart of the Garden District.

Length: This tour is about 1 hour and 45 minutes to two hours and is about a mile total walking distance.

Tours leave promptly at the start time. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the tour.
By streetcar – Take the St. Charles streetcar to First Street. Streetcars run every 15 minutes. Ride time from Canal Street to First Street is approximately 22 minutes.
By car – There is street parking available in the area surrounding First Street and St. Charles. Please allow time to find a parking spot.
